9Lives Dry Cat Feud

9 Lives Dried Cat Feud is a lost Looney Tunes short.

Premise

The short begins with the sound of heart beating as the text "I tawt I taw a puddy tat a creeping up on me" fades in and stops for 10 seconds, then fades out, then another text "I did I taw a puddy tat as plain as he could be" fades in and stops for 10 seconds then fades out, then the camera fades in to Sylvester the Cat sleeping on the floor, purring. Footsteps and city noises are quietly heard in the background. A minute later, Sylvester the Cat slowly opens his eyes, stretches, and crawls like a cat to the kitchen. Sylvester stops, looks down at his empty cat bowl (a little swooshing noise is heard), and says a soft "meow" sadly. Then he crawls away (a short rev of the chainsaw is heard). Then suddenly he sees the can labeled "CAT FOOD". Right next to the can is a box of 9 Lives Dried Cat Food with Sylvester himself on it. As the footsteps and city noises in the background are getting louder slowly, Sylvester smells, licks and smacks his lips, grabs the can and the box, and walks to the table and sits down. As an idea/lightbulb sound effect is heard in the background but sounding a bit stuttering, Sylvester opens a can of cat food with a can opener and pours some cat food in the cat bowl. Then he opens a box of 9 Lives Dried Cat Food and pours some in the cat bowl as the ambiance and little swooshing noises are heard in the background. Sylvester puts down a cat bowl of cat food, gets down on all fours, and starts to eat some cat food slowly. Then the camera cuts to Sylvester eating cat food up close, as we hear a small bang in the background followed by what sounds like an ambiance noise of a door closing several times. Sylvester eats some cat food faster and faster. Then as the footsteps, city noises, ambiance, little swooshing noises, an ambiance noise of a door closing, a chainsaw revving, and an ascending Shepard tone grow slowly louder, the cameras cut back and forth slower then faster between a close up and zooming in and out of Sylvester eating cat food faster until a small bang is heard, the screen cuts to black, and then there's silence.
